The students are exposed to Mechanical drafting, Designing, Modification of existing design, Estimating & Costing, Operating of various machines and their maintenance. They also get adequate exposure to latest technology such as Mechatronics, CAD/CAM & Robotics, and CNC. The Diploma Holders can be absorbed as Apprentice Trainees in reputed Public Sector/Private Sector companies. After completion of the training, they will be placed as maintenance/production engineers. They can acquire additional qualification and thus reach higher levels in the company. They are also trained to start their own business and be self employed.

The program provides a wide spectrum of both theoretical and practical knowledge about on modern automotives. In addition to this, it also imparts knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Basic Computers, Engineering Drawing, AutoCad and much more in the field of Mechanical Engineering supported with practical work. CIM is the integration of the total manufacturing enterprise through the use of integrated system and data communication. It is the umbrella term under which CAD/CAM, Flexible Manufacturing (FNS) and Computer aided Production Management (CAPM) find a place. Development in CIM results in real time process simulation and computer Numerically controlled manufacturing. It involves both software and special purpose hardware. Implementation of CIM in any organisation results in tangible and intangible benefits such as higher benefits, Increased productivity, reduced inventory, customer satisfaction. The course is helpful to learn Optimization of various manufacturing processusing finite element Analysis, Design and Optimization of various tooling used in manufacturing processes.
